They say the darkest hour is just before dawn, and for the first time Hannah is starting to truly understand what that means. With Gina’s husband misbehaving, Ross under attack, and bad news for Mitchell that only Hannah can tell him, things seem to be falling apart around her. How will she be the rock that everyone needs when she can’t control any part of her own life? It’s going to take a special kind of courage to see this dawn break, but when it does the future might just be the brighter for it. The problem is that Hannah’s not sure she can be that strong...
In the last and most awaited book in ONCE UPON A WINTER series, Tilly Tennant weaves Meadows sisters - Hannah and Gina - their long lost Happily-Ever-After. The story opens with revealing who was behind beating up Ross, followed by a string of peppy actions of Hannah and a pleasant ending for Gina and Ross's love story.

Tilly's easy-going, yet beautiful writing can easily charm the readers. Briskly-paced and well-narrated too, which can make us feel as we are a part of their story. Towards the end, it seems like the author has brought in some elements of realism as well; especially with Gina's love story and her daughter, Jesse, being adamant about the Mom's boyfriend. I liked it, albeit, I secretly wished for more drama from Jesse and Ross's mother.

Woven together with oodles of love, affection, zest, and humor are two hearty chicklitty love stories, that can create a realaxing, feel-good atmosphere for the readers. Back in December, I was skeptical about whether I would like the entire series or not. But the deftly developed storyline really got me, and soon I found myself reading them one after the other.

ONCE UPON A WINTER is a charming tale of two sisters, who were lucky to find love again. A feel-good story that can be enjoyed by all the chick-lit lovers. Recommended!

Tilly Tennant was born in Dorset, the oldest of four children, but now lives in Staffordshire with a family of her own. After years of dismal and disastrous jobs, including paper plate stacking, shop girl, newspaper promotions and waitressing (she never could carry a bowl of soup without spilling a bit), she decided to indulge her passion for the written word by embarking on a degree in English and creative writing, graduating in 2009 with first class honours. She wrote her first novel in 2007 during her first summer break at university and has not stopped writing since. She also works as a freelance fiction editor, and considers herself very lucky that this enables her to read many wonderful books before the rest of the world gets them.

Hopelessly Devoted to Holden Finn was her debut novel; published in 2014 it was an Amazon bestseller in both the UK and Australia. It was followed by Mishaps and Mistletoe and The Man Who Can't Be Moved. Find out more about Tilly and how to join her mailing list for news and exclusives at
