Come on, It's Easter. Let's Rejoice

“Wow! It’s a beautiful day!” – I said, looking outside at the shining sun.

Here I am, sitting in my room, looking outside through the dusty glass windows. Thank God! Finally the sun has come up. Overnight sandstorm has covered the streets with a thick blanket of sand though.

I can see few young men down there, cleaning their car’s windshield. And another group of people marching through the streets. They all seem pretty happy. Why they would be so happy? No doubt that it’s because the dark days are gone, and the sun has come out, so today is definitely a day to rejoice.

The joy of seeing a lot happier and energetic young people have made so happy as well. I could really feel lots of energy in me. It is so beautiful to have such fresh and blessed day. “What should I do now?” Should I jump around in my room? Or should I have a pillow fight with my hubby? Or do some Craft works? “What should I do now?” So much of energy in me.

Bingo! Why not write a message in my blog? That’s sounds like a pretty good idea. Yes, It is Easter today. So I should write a message about Easter.

Come on, It's Easter. Let's Rejoice

Yes, Sun has come out from the clouds and the young are so happy about it. So all of us, the children of God should rejoice so much more. Because our Lord Jesus Christ has resurrected from the dead; the light of the world has defeated the darkness and has given hope for all the people who believes in him.

Have you ever thought, why do people say Easter is much more important than Christmas? Well. It is because, for Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus. He came from heaven to earth to save the world, to save us, to wash away our sins. And we can see that, it’s the resurrection of God that has fulfilled these God’s plan to save the people from their sins, to give them hope, to show them their way to eternal life.

John 1:29 says - “The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” Yes, Jesus, the Lamb of God, was sent to this world to take away the sin of the world!

And how did Jesus do take away the sin of the world? We can see that The Bible says – “In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.” (Hebrews 9:22). So it is clear that blood sacrifice is inevitable for forgiveness of sin. It was the sacrificial system established by God in the Old Testament.

It is sin that separates us from God. Jesus was sent to earth as an offering for sin. “Yet it was the LORD's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the LORD makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand.” (Isaiah 53:10).

So it is through the death of Jesus on the cross as God’s perfect sacrifice for our sin, and his resurrection from death so that we all can have eternal life if we believe in him. It was God’s plan to redeem us from our sin with the blood of Christ. God raised Him from the dead and glorified Him. So, let all of us, all the children of God, believe in Jesus, believe that He was sacrificed for our redemption, believe that His blood has washed away our sin, and through Him we have been blessed with eternal life. So let’s all rejoice in Jesus.
This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. - Psalm 118:24
Happy Easter Everyone!!
Have a blessed day!
